Virtual Pet

Your pet lives in real time, just like the 90s originals that got confiscated in classrooms worldwide:

• Feed — fills the food meter (an unfed pet gets hangry, not dead)
• Play — boosts happiness but costs a little energy
• Sleep — dims the screen and restores energy; tap again to wake it
• Clean — because pixel pets are... productive

The egg hatches after a minute, and the baby grows into an adult with an hour of total age. Stats decay slowly while you're away (state is saved in your browser's local storage), but mercy patch: they never drop below grumpy. No 3 AM beeping, no tiny gravestone; we all remember the gravestone.

Everything runs and is stored locally in your browser; your pet never leaves your device.
